Common Purpose: Life in Post-Democracy UK…
December 4, 2009 in International, Morality, Politics, Uncategorized, United Kingdom, parliament by editor | 34 comments
Although it has 80,000 trainees in 36 cities, 18,000 graduate members and enormous power, Common Purpose is largely unknown to the general public. It recruits and trains “leaders” to be loyal to the directives of Common Purpose and the EU, instead of to their own departments, which they then undermine or subvert, the NHS being an example. Click here to read more and then here to visit the Common Purpose website
Now click here to view a talk by Brian Gerrish who is working hard to alert the general public to the activities of Common Purpose.
Then, if you’re still with us, click here to take a fresh look at the relationship to nation states of the European Union post-Lisbon Treaty. Note what this commentary says about the disappearance of Westminster (and, no doubt, Holyrood) and the suppression of future elections.
And finally, fully read and viewed, making sure you’ve put a wee drop of the hard stuff in your teacup, click on ‘comments’ with your thoughts. Is this just another “conspiracy theory” or does the fact of the widely and, who knows, deliberately unpublicised activities of Common Purpose speak for itself? What’ll happen to the much lauded concept of ”religious liberty” when the post-democracy leaders get their hands on it?

I’ve only had a quick glance at the article and the Common Purpose website but it looks like something out of George Orwell’s 1984! Frightening stuff. Indeed, this is further proof that the New World Order is gaining ground.
Our Lady of Fatima, come to our aid!

I’d actually seen another video of Brian Gerrish, just a short film with him speaking in a lady’s house, but that whetted my appetite so I am really glad to have this thread.
I’ve read all the links but only seen 1/6 of the video and can’t wait to see the rest.
I really do think this will be curtains for religious liberty. This is dictatorship in the making. To think they’re training unelected leaders for the post-democracy period! Also, that the Lisbon Treaty means Westminster could be dissolved and no more national elections.
I could believe it because it was not that long ago the powers that be were saying no way will be there be a president of the EU and now we’ve got one.
I have a sense of helplessness though – what can ordinary people really do about it, apart from what Brian Gerrish says, not to vote for any of the main parties. It’s true, if we all voted for independents and very minority parties, that would throw Parliament into disarray. They just might get the message that we’ve had enough. The thing is, the public are so busy worrying about their money, that they can’t see the real issues.
Brian Gerrish should be given a medal though – I’m amazed he’s never been on TV, not that I’ve seen anyway. -

I have viewed all 6 parts of the Brian Gerrish Video, and all the hyperlinks associated with this thread.
My first emotion was that of overwhelming hopelessness at how deeply entrenched the subversive element has become.
My second, and current, emotion is one of calmness in that these power-mongers will undoubtedly have their day, and life will get very unpleasant under their yoke, but like all corruption, rot will eventually set in and their edifice will become self-destroying.
Does any Traditional Catholic think that God will let His creation be ruined? Did not Our Lady promise us that “In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph”?
I am not suggesting that we do nothing, but I am saying there is Hope beyond the trials, and that we must each bear our cross until our Maker decides the time has come to restore Good.
Keep praying, and never lose hope.

It frighterns me! At first, reading through several subsections of the first link, I thought it was another case of thousands of words giving no hint whatsoever as to the purpose of ‘Common Purpose’ until I read the sub-sections entitled ‘Vision’ and ‘Leading beyond authority’. What those sections reveal is truly ugly – 1984 indeed -, and I’m going to find time to go through all Brian Gerrish’s videos.

This process is called a “revolution within the state.” That is, the political infrastructure is taken over by an alien power, which attempts to maintain the appearance of structural normalcy while it transforms the working guts into something quite different.
Sort of the the Satanic equivalent of transubtantiation: the appearance remains, but the substance is changed.
The New World Order accomplished something like this with the US government long ago, through the Council on Foreign Relations (which is itself but a branch of the Royal Institute of International Affairs – RIIA – in London). The CFR is an internationalist (i.e. world government) think tank, formed in 1919 I believe with the guiding hand and money of JP Morgan and the Cecil Rhodes – Lord Milner Round Table. Membership is unofficially required to run for president, no matter from which major political party, and to serve in the president’s cabinet. Thus domestic and foreign policy is controlled and steered by those who serve alien masters. And as Fr. Malachi Martin points out in “Windswept House,” the hidden presence behind all this is Satanic (did you get there yet, Naomi?).
It would be interesting to discover if there are any links between Common Purpose and the RIIA. I’ll bet there are all kinds of interlocking relationships – also with the Tavistock Institute. It would be even more interesting to discover how many of the UK bishops are Common Purpose stooges. The TUPC article alludes to this.
I don’t think there is yet a counterpart to this “Common Purpose” in the US – i.e. which extends its tentacles so far down into local and regional political structures. But it wouldn’t surprise me if the Obama administration is working on it – probably with funds from George Soros.
Does anyone know anything about this TPUC group Editor has linked?

I agree wih Torkay. “Commom Purpose” sounds like the shadow government that we have here in the U.S., consisting of the CFR and the Bilderberg group. The New World Order has infiltrated every sector of the world. Pray for the consecration of Russia!
“To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism, and religious dogmas.” – Brock Adams, Director UN Health Organization
“We are not going to achieve a New World Order without paying for it in blood as well as in words and money.” – Arthur Schlesinger Jr., ‘The CFR Journal Foreign Affairs’, August 1975.
“A world government can intervene militarily in the internal affairs of any nation when it disapproves of their activities.” – Kofi Annan, U.N. Secretary General
“The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining supercapitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control…. Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.” — Congressman Larry P. McDonald, 1976, killed in the Korean Airlines 747 that was shot down by the Soviets
“No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation.” — David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

Isn’t this exactly what Sister Lucy meant when she said that the whole world would be subjugated under Communism? European politics has been completely Socialised (Communised) and now these governments are uniting to form a European Soviet.
In the meantime, Obama has taken his place as U.S. President. He is the man who will Socialise the United States, just as Sister Lucy predicted would happen.
While all this has been going on, Russia and China have grown to become the leading financial and military powers in the world while the West deteriorates.
And to think that Lenin laid all the steps for this master plan of Sovietising the world many decades before Gorbachev initiated the final stage, called Glasnost and Peristroika (openness and restructuring), which was actually the opening up of the West to Communism and its restructuring under Soviet rule. It’s as plain as the nose on your face and yet most can’t see it.

My reading back in the 90s never did take me as far as investigating the role of the Throne of England in this EU/New World Order/Fourth Reich, but I came across several references to it in passing, in conjunction with royal ownership of the Bank of England, and the English branch of the Rothschilds. It would appear that the English royals (“perfidious Albion”) play a pivotal role in all this.
Miley, have you ever looked in that direction?
(I also recall hearing about a book which claimed that the US had never really gained independence from England – analyzed from a highly technical legal standpoint which was way over my head).

Torkay,
I did know that there was a British/American connection. The Institute of International Affairs has two branches– The British branch became known as the Royal Institute of International Affairs. And we know the American branch, is the Council of Foreign Relations.
I have not done any research on the English royal connection. But like you, I believe that it is all intertwined. Very interesting stuff!

Torkay and Miles Christi Sum,
the royal connection was one of the most surprising things, I thought, on the EU website. I tend to think of the Queen as a puppet, no real power, so to discover that she has been driving the EU project came as a surprise. I would have thought a Queen – any Queen – would not want to diminish the status and power of her own country.
What possible rationale can there be for the Queen/royal family wanting more power from Brussels?

Naomi, sorry but I posted my comment about climate change here instead of the Climategate thread so I’ve deleted and reposted.
Would you repost your comment there and I will delete it at this end.
Sorry for any confusion caused. -

If the apparent situation is that the Queen of England is not only surrendering her power to Brussels but organizing that surrender, then I submit that there is no real loss of power, but a gain of power – e.g. from the British Isles to the entire world. We just don’t know how it will work.

Tomas,
The rest of the UK. like the poor, is still with you. Elizabeth is our Queen too.
I prefer Catholic Truth when it sticks to Church affairs. I think we have enough to do sorting ourselves out without taking on the political world.

I’m still slowly working through all the information in the links provided.
George Orwell’s 1984 is definitely here with us with the Common purpose brainwashing and manipulation. In addition to our computers and phones being tapped, just how soon will we be monitored by cameras complete with sound be forcibly installed in our homes to spy upon us even further. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us indeed.

I showed this thread to someone I know this morning but he thought the Common Purpose website was no big deal and the EU link was more conspiracy theory than fact. He mentioned the bit about “only Britain will face abject poverty” and he thought this was really racism. The next sentence does explain that the poverty in Britain is because only Britain will be affected by all those regulations but is that true?
Does anybody know anything about the man David Noakes who runs the EU site? If you click on “MY Blog” you get his name.
Eileenanne, I thought that at first when I saw this thread but it really is all tied in with religion because political leaders have the power to stifle religious practice. Our Lady of Fatima was warning of the spread of Communism so I think it is very true that religion and politics are intertwined.

Eileenanne, there’s a new thread on specifically religious issues up above now. I really do look forward to reading your views on this latest Vatican stunt.
About the sources, rebel, I have to admit that I have taken them all at face value on the recommendation of a reader in England. He has been concerned for some time about Common Purpose and only now have I gotten around to checking it out. I thought the simplest way to do that was to post a thread and find out what greater intellects than mine think about it.
But I see REJ hasn’t posted here so you lot will have to do!!

Grignion on December 5, 2009 at 10:26 pm
I’ve had a look at all the links and listened to Brian Garrish’s talk. I think it is all connected to the Faith as it presents futrther evidence of the overall “diabolical disorientation.” After all, we were warned that “Russia would continue to spread her evils.” We’ve walked blindfold into a socialist police state. All Western countries have to a greater or lesser extent- even the USA. Perhaps I’m a bit pessimistic, but I can’t see it changing until Russia is consecrated to Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart.
What strikes me about Common Purpose’s website is its unintelligibility. It makes vague, ambiguous statements that don’t appear to mean anything. It’s like reading any government document nowadays. I work for the NHS, and amount of meaningless garbage that gets “cascaded” into my inbox is beyond belief. There are certain phrases that get flung around all the time, and I normally just switch off when I hear them. CP’s website is full of all the same jargon. In fact, it could all have been written by the same person.
The modern Church comes out with all the same jargon. Didn’t Our Lord say, ‘let your “yes” mean “yes,” and your “no” mean “no”?’ Compare pre-Vatican II documents to the ambiguity in the documents of the Council and almost everything that came afterwards.

I’m really not that surprised. I’ve been reading for years of their connection/ties with Freemasonry. This is very interesting!

That’s right, Miles Christi Sum – I forgot all about the royal links with freemasonry (despite seeing the Duke of whatsit addressing a freemasonic meeting during a TV documentary recently).
I’ve a terrible problem with my memory but I can’t remember what it is.Grignion, I agree with Athanasius – great post.

As was clearly stated at the conference by Fr Paul Kramer, it is yet more overwhelming evidence of the Masonic Zionistic movement’s aim/goal to achieve world domination and have us all under their power.

Draughtsman Arsène Heitz of Strasbourg is the author of the Flag of Europe, aka the banner of the European Union (EU).
Heitz is a member of the Order of the Miraculous Medal; he prays a rosary daily, and has a great devotion to our Lady. In a 1999 interview (http://www.dailycatholic.org/issue/archives/1999Dec/233dec8,vol.10,no.233txt/dec8nv2.htm) he related that when he was considering a design to submit for the EU back in the 1950s, he was reading the history of the Blessed Virgin’s apparitions in Paris’ Rue du Bac. The idea for the circle of 12 stars came from this passage in the book of the Apocalypse 12:1: “And a great sign appeared in heaven: A woman clothed with the sun, and moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”
The woman in this case is the church of God, and by allusion is also the Blessed Virgin Mary. The church is clothed with the sun, that is, with Christ; she has the moon, that is, the changeable things of the world, in subjection under her feet; and the 12 stars with which she is crowned are the 12 apostles; she is in labor and pain, while she brings forth her children, and Christ in them, in the midst of afflictions and persecutions. (Challoner)
The 12 stars are the symbol of the Immaculate Conception herself, whose feast day we celebrate next Tuesday — the 49th anniversary of when the European Ministers’ delegates officially adopted Heitz’s design for the European flag.
I don’t know that there’s anything particularly religious about the EU — it’s very much an organization devoted to the self-aggrandizing cult of man. I’m of the view that the lyrics of the EU’s official anthem — the final movement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, the Ode to Joy — better capture its true spirit:
Europe is united now
United it may remain
Our unity in diversity
May contribute to world peace.
May there forever reign in Europe
Faith and justice
And freedom for its people
In a bigger motherland.
Citizens, Europe shall flourish,
A great task calls on you.
Golden stars in the sky are
The symbols that shall unite us.I’m not sure which is worse: this banal doggerel, or the shallow, prosy, rationalistic musings of the Schiller original (see http://www.raptusassociation.org/ode1785.html).
Anyway, I think it noteworthy that with the inclusion of our Lady’s 12 stars in the EU’s banner, Heaven once again found a way to keep itself on the radar screen of a movement bent of excising consideration of the Divine.

It recruits and trains “leaders” to be loyal to the directives of Common Purpose and the EU, instead of to their own departments, which they then undermine or subvert, the NHS being an example.
Is this the reason so many directives from Brussels seem to be implemented in the UK as soon as they are announced, whereas other countries within the Community seem to pick and choose which ones they will implement and when?
-
